NFL Draft 2025

The NFL draft 2025 begins this week, and there are a few high-profile names that fantasy owners will want to keep an eye on. One prospect to watch is Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, who won the Outland Trophy this season and showcased a well-rounded game. He has the speed to evade blocks and the strength to overpower offensive linemen, plus a relentless motor that will help him outlast defenders.

The Buccaneers could use a veteran starter to replace the departed Jameis Winston, and it would make sense for them to go after a quarterback with long-term potential. Maye has a live arm and backyard-style bravado, and he’ll have the chance to shine in a Tampa Bay offense that features stalwart outlets like Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Wide receiver has become a top-heavy position, but there’s still a chance to find some value here in the middle rounds. Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson are two young wideouts who can produce at WR1-levels, while CeeDee Lamb, Puka Nacua and Amon-Ra St. Brown are all expected to see a sizable target share in the pros.

There are plenty of 25-and-younger running backs that could break into (or back into) the weekly RB1 mix, including Blake Swift, Kenneth Walker III, Chase Brown, Omarion Hampton, Quinshon Judkins and RJ Harvey. Add those to the list of rising-star veterans, along with a deep rookie class, and there’s no reason not to spend some time here this summer.
