US Open 2025 Schedule

For the first time in US Open history, this year’s tournament begins on a Sunday, extending it to 15 days. The move has been praised by players and media, who say it gives fans more matches to see on-site and improves the overall experience for everyone involved.

However, the USTA has yet to decide how long it will continue with this experiment, and other Grand Slam tournaments are following closely to see what happens next. It might be only a matter of time before the rest follow suit, and this is a big change for tennis as a whole.

The US Open 2025 schedule begins on August 24 and runs through September 7. There are a total of 15 days of competition at Oakmont Country Club, which features 22,000-seat Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, Grandstand Stadium, and more.

If you’re planning on attending any day of the Open, make sure to check out the daily schedule of play for that particular day to get a full sense of which courts are featuring matches. You can also download the official US Open app to stay up-to-date on all things tennis, including scores and live streaming information.

For those who can’t be in the US, or want to watch a different angle of the action, NBC Sports and Peacock are both providing extensive coverage of the event this year. USA Network will start the week with morning rounds of coverage from Thursday to Saturday, then shift to NBC for the night sessions. Peacock will also air Sky Sports’s coverage on Saturday and Sunday as a separate stream, and footage from it will be integrated into U.S. Open All-Access throughout the championship.
