The NFL draft is an annual event where the league selects new players to join each franchise. Shedeur Sanders, son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, is another name to keep an eye out for near the top of the first round. The 22-year-old was a polarizing prospect, but he has the size and skills to make an impact on the next level.

The 49ers have one of the top needs in the league, and they’ve been linked to several defensive line prospects throughout this process. They picked up defensive end Antonio Williams to upgrade their run defense, and they believe he can help their pass rush with 14 tackles at or behind the line of scrimmage last season.
